With Menaggio only a few minutes away and ferry connections to the villages around the lake, the Swiss border 30 minutes by car and Lugano 40 minutes, St Moritz and Madesimo an hour and a half and Milan about an hour away, the villa is in a perfect position for a base to explore the treasures of the area – However, once you have see the magical views and enjoyed the amenities of the villa there is a very good chance that you will want to spend your entire stay on the lake just relaxing in luxury.
The villa with free wifi is accessed by a gated tunnel which leads to the private garage with automated doors. The ground floor has a laundry and utility area and a lift that services all 4 floors
From the elevator on the first floor you will be welcomed by a modern, luxurious and very light open plan living and kitchen area, with beautiful lake views and doors to the main terrace. There are two double bedrooms on this floor, one of which has direct access to the main terrace and full views over the lake. There is also a bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
On the second floor, the stunning kitchen is fully furnished and provides all the necessary gadgets. The central island with built in Teppanyaki grill and seating is perfect for entertaining. The chic dining area can seat a party of 8 and the living area offers comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with Sky, and wall-mounted Bang & Olufsen CD player. There are three glass doors along one side of the room which look directly over the lake and lead to a balcony which runs the full length of the house. There is another sliding door which leads to the villa's sunny terrace, which offers comfortable outdoor dining for up to 8 as well as panoramic lake and mountain views. This floor also provides a modern and stylish toilet.
Accommodation above is made up of a double bedroom and the Master suite which comprises of a generously proportioned walk in wardrobe which includes a fridge, a large high 'ceilinged' sleeping area with views over the lake and access to a sunny terrace. There is also a bathroom with large shower.
The second bedroom also has views over the lake and a series of very spacious wardrobes. A finely furnished bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower is also located here.
As well as the sunny private outside terraces to wine and dine on, guests can also enjoy the shared swimming pool, which boasts stunning lake views.
There are two pizzerias which are less than 10 minutes walk from the villa and the area also includes tennis courts that offer professional lessons and a golf course plus numerous scenic walks.
