The UTMB Mont-Blanc also known as the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc is one of the most anticipated events in Chamonix and the last stage of the UTMB World Series, the world’s ultimate trail-running circuit that organize running events around the world in which both professionals and amateurs take part. The event includes 6 endurance races in addition to the headline UTMB race and takes place in Chamonix-Mont Blanc from the 26 of August to 1 of September 2024. There is also live music, meet and greets, product expos, podcasts, free concerts and an extremely vibrant atmosphere in the ski bars!
About the area: Mostly known as a chic winter resort, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc can be spectacular in summer as well, with range of activities to enjoy. From extreme sports such as paragliding tandem flight, bungee jumping and free falling from a helicopter to several hikes and tourist attractions such as Le Mer de Glace and Parc de Merlet.
